October 11 2018, DORS arrange a company visit in collaboration with Ørsted A/S. Did you miss it? I am very sorry… we had a great time.
We had a group of great hosts that, with presentations and poster sessions, showed us how advanced analytics is being applied at Ørsted A/S. The discussions and presentations were broad, ranging from how to implement management changes into the organisation, to the presentation of concrete projects and even a bit of details on currently used mathematical models and future developments. It was a truly inspiring event that culminated with networking time at the local pub.
The next DORS upcoming event is OR-DAY at Aarhus University. The event is tailored students and aims at promoting OR. More details will come soon, so stay tuned!
