Company Visit at ECCO: 17 September 2026

This year's DORS Company visit takes place at ECCO, a well-known Danish company leading the application of Operations Research to retail inventory. Their innovation has been recognized internationally as a finalist for the prestigious Franz Edelman Award in 2026.

• 15:30-16:00: Registration & arrivals

• 16:00-17:00: From Sneaks & Data to Edelman Award finalist

  ECCO Sneaks & Data was a pilot company with just a few employees, which later evolved into the Data & AI department. This talk covers Intelligent Auto Replenishment - the first operations research product within ECCO - which caused a paradigm shift in the company's supply chain and lead to ECCO becoming a finalist in the Edelman Award competition.

• 17:15-18:15: Aftermath of IAR: further use of operations research ECCO

  The success of Intelligent Auto Replenishment opened doors to wider usage of operations research in ECCO's supply chain. In this talk you will hear about three more solutions: OmniChannel, Dynamic Delivery Date and Quantified Supply Planning.

• 18:15-18:30: Introducing Generic MIP

  A brief presentation of our own MIP modelling package for Python, which will soon become open-source.

• 18:30-20:00: Networking, snacks and drinks
