COMPANY AIRPORT VISIT - COPENHAGEN AIRPORT

Copenhagen Airport and DORS are excited to invite you to a company visit. Copenhagen Airport will tell about the company, the expansion plans and how Operations Research is used to optimize the day to day operation at the most efficient airport in Europe.

There will also be plenty of opportunities for networking in between talks and afterwards.

The event takes place: Tuesday 19th September 16:00 in the main office building on Lufthavnsboulevarden 6, 2770 Kastrup, a 10 minute walk from the metro/train station through Terminal 2.

Program

16:00 We meet at the reception. If weather permits, we will introduce the airport on the rooftop terrace with a nice view of the entire airport.

16:30 Two talks (soft drinks and snacks will be served):

Using Operations Research to optimize airport operation – live demonstration of models and sensor technology (Esben Kolind, Head of Operational and Business Analysis).

Master Thesis Case Study: Optimizing Ground Service Equipment in CPH (Anders Aalborg Jacobsen, Operations Analyst).

17:30: Beer and networking at O’Learys in Terminal 2
